I really just wanted a place where I can post things about Second Life. My main site seems to be the wrong place to do that, and I don’t want to subject any of my regular readers to “all SL/all the time” type posts. The subdomain was just created about a week ago, and I installed WordPress on it, yesterday.
There’s actually a dual purpose to this subdomain, at the moment. Even though this will remain a place where I will post about things to do with SL, it is also (at the moment) a good testing ground for a new template that I’ll be changing the main site over to. My main site has been around for years, and is currently on its fourth generation theme. I’ll be updating to the latest version of WordPress, soon, and v4 of the theme (the one that’s there, now) will not work well with the newest version of WordPress.
I’ve added content (sort of an auto-biography) in the “About” page, here. While playing around with the theme, some of the pages and contents in the sidebar may change.
From now on, this site will be used as a place for me to post my opinions, and any news or links that have to do with Second Life. I also “plan” to include more pictures on this site that I usually do on the main site. Add the feed to your feed readers, so that you’ll see the posts when I update. As always, the posts will not come at any regular interval, but I promise that you won’t be overwhelmed with them, either.
