Buying in RL Because of SL

I haven’t been in-game too often, over the past week. There’s a lot of RL things that I’ve been taking care of. One of them is the purchase of a sailboat, brought about by the effects of the Hollywood sim. My “Home position” in SL is at the Starboards Yacht Club, and more than 50% of what I’ve been doing in-game is sailing.
CHANGE OF PLANS: As you can see here, plans have changed. *sigh*
I used to race sailboats with my uncle, about 25 years ago, and loved it. The past couple years, I’ve been wanting a boat, more and more. It’s actually about to happen. I’ve been talking to a seller that live about 250 miles from where I live. The deal is done, except for the exchange. All I have to do is come up with a way to pick up the boat, since my current vehicle doesn’t have a hitch.
So sailing in SL was the final push for me to go out and purchase a RL boat. If only the inventory transfer was as easy… I’d be out on the lake, toady.
