Xavier you have some nerve trying to say Frank stole anything from you or made you loose any money. You made a deal with Payday Loan for shares in AVC in exchange for Lucia Bay. You proceeded to kill that share price by not understanding how exchanges work by selling off 1 million shares at market price. This caused AVC to tumble to .02 per share. When the dust settled. Frank returned your regions, paid the tier and transfer fees, and you still ended up with your full shares in AVC which it ends up never cost you anything. I myself lost money in AVC's recent collapse. We gave it a run to pull it back, but with virtually no assets and a share price that could never return to where it originated the attempt was like walking a cliff's edge.

Did anyone else receive an email from Frank Corsi aka Jasper Tizzy? I did, welcoming me to join him on Central Grid. Be wary of Frank Corsi. If you go to www.centralgrid.com Corsi is Mr Grid on centralgrid despite lies by Monkey Canning and Mike31 Dawes denying that fact.

Central Grid is just another ploy by Corsi to take you all for your money.

You're right, the gambling ban did start the beginning of the bank run. Ginko's could afford their interest rates in part because they invested in casinos, and when they went, so went the investments. It wasn't immediately obvious until people started attempting to withdrawl and started noticing that their deposits weren't growing with interest. Thus began the massive rush to withdrawl while the going was still good, and we both know how the story played out.

From the general trends so far, some banks are defaulting, some are offering to return all deposits, some are offering the same service sans interest (the language of the ban concerns only interest payments and not simple "I'll hold your money" deals), and some might go underground (which some casinos did after they were banned). The interesting thing is that unlike gambling, LL announced this policy some time before they actually implemented it which should put to rest this debate other whether it's better to suddenly enforce or give prior warning. Judging from the relative, and I use that term loosely, calm concerning this so far, I think either people don't realize what exactly is going on or it is being handled by people in a surprisingly adult manner.

I should also mention that "Me" is correct in that the LLC was not accepted by Linden Lab.
So, "Me", by your thinking, I suppose that every type of business owner in Second Life would be required to have the required license in RL to do what they do in SL. If they want to deal in virtual land, they would need to be a licensed real estate agent. If they want to sell scripted weapons, they would need a license to deal arms, and also need to enforce a waiting period. If they want to build houses and office buildings, they would be required to meet building codes.

If you actually did some research, you would realize that not all of the banks are "scams" (as you call them). If you believe everything that Linden Lab tells you, you'll be in for a huge surprise, one of these days, when you realize that it's no longer "Your World. Your Imagination."

Could you cite the "major law suit" that is stirring? Has something been legally filed somewhere that I'm not aware of?

That above PDF is just an LLC. No good. Sorry, that is not a banking license.
Linden will either refuse this and require a banking license or their efforts are vain.

I think you might do some more research. If Linden allows the scam artists to play bank in SL just because they have a formal LLC business License, this will not protect Linden from a major law suit that is stirring.

I've read a few places where Linden is denying company owners from playing bank. You have to have a BANKING LICENSE...

Have fun,

When I first entered the world of SL economics, I considered Second Life to be something of a libertarian model, with Linden Lab having a mostly laissez-faire attitude toward the economy. (Not entirely as they collect "property taxes" and create land masses themselves.) After the gambling ban, I felt that they abandoned that libertarian experiment. Now with the whole affair with banking, they are abandoning the free market. If they extend this to virtual corporations, and I see that as all too near, then capitalism itself will be done away with. I suspect that a likely extreme will be akin to a feudal system with Linden Lab being the vassel lords.

Well, it looks like the site is starting to change, today. I'm really a little confused, now, though.... LOL... frustrated, confused... what's next, huh?

From the looks of things, he is keeping the exact same template that I had changed it over to, months ago. The only changes that I see are the colors and some button images. I honestly hope there's more to it.

The whole idea behind redesigning the site was to get better ad placement, I thought. The ads are still in the same place... maybe moved up a bit, since some of the things on the site have been removed.

I really hope this isn't the extent of it, though. If this is all, I "know" I could have given Arbitrage Wise more bang for his buck. If ad placement was important, it would have looked more like this.

At least the site isn't all flash! There's hope for search engine optimization.

I also love how Kyumoto's website assumes you would like it to maximize itself. On a dual-screen setup, it centers itself across both of my screens and drops off the bottom of my screen, so I have to move and resize my browser each time.

Ever wonder why the best *designers* always work from home? It's usually because they lack the business or production skills to be hired on by a real-life agency or design firm. Nobody ever said that you are competent just because you know how to use Flash or Photoshop. ;)

Ahh the joys of an overzealous man

[22:51] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: so let me get this straight
[22:51] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: you made up the angel fluffy is mootykips thing AND the maldy got raped in a warehouse thing?
[22:51] IntLibber Brautigan: yes
[22:51] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: lul
[22:51] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: did you make the song too?
[22:51] IntLibber Brautigan: tho madelena rossini says the warehouse story is amazingly accurate
[22:51] IntLibber Brautigan: no I didn't
[22:51] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: aww
[22:52] IntLibber Brautigan: I think alyx made the song
[22:52] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: so you thought of the angel fluffy thing all by yourself?
[22:52] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: huh
[22:52] IntLibber Brautigan: yeah
[22:52] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: w00t
[22:53] IntLibber Brautigan: whats totally lulzy is that maldy got griefed by PN for both of them
[22:53] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: haw
[22:53] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: that how you planned it?
[22:53] IntLibber Brautigan: nah
[22:54] IntLibber Brautigan: maldys so arrogant tho he claimed credit for the angel fluffy story
[22:54] IntLibber Brautigan: I wasn't going to contradict him
[22:54] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: huh
[22:56] IntLibber Brautigan: and well the warehouse story, I just made that up on the spot on not420chan to troll maldy's attempt to troll that site
[22:56] IntLibber Brautigan: given the stuff maddy told me about his life from his little intimate chats, it kinda fell into place
[23:01] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: like wut
[23:01] IntLibber Brautigan: stuff
[23:01] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: dish, sister
[23:02] IntLibber Brautigan: at SLCC he was so incapable of expressing his feelings in person, with his own voice, he had to sit there and type it out on a computer for her to read
[23:02] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: to who
[23:02] IntLibber Brautigan: to maddy
[23:02] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: oh, maddy
[23:03] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: who exactly is she anyways
[23:03] IntLibber Brautigan: lol
[23:03] IntLibber Brautigan: that would be disclosure here bud
[23:03] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: aw come on
[23:03] IntLibber Brautigan: madelena rossini?
[23:03] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: yeah
[23:04] IntLibber Brautigan: she is obsessed with maldy cause he basically brainwashed her
[23:04] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: how's that?
[23:04] IntLibber Brautigan: you know how manipulative he is
[23:04] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: not rly
[23:05] IntLibber Brautigan: ask alyx
[23:05] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: explain?
[23:05] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: na,w tell me
[23:06] IntLibber Brautigan: he just is
[23:06] IntLibber Brautigan: then once he's sucked someone in, he destroys them
[23:06] IntLibber Brautigan: he's a megalomaniac
[23:06] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: ah
[23:06] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: like a headcrap
[23:06] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: crab, even
[23:06] IntLibber Brautigan: yeah
[23:07] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: ah
[23:07] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: so he has delusions of grandeur?
[23:07] IntLibber Brautigan: yeah
[23:07] IntLibber Brautigan: he is the lord of SL and Phillips personal knob polisher
[23:07] IntLibber Brautigan: as well as a "scripting legend"
[23:08] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: lul
[23:08] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: say
[23:08] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: you like chicken?
[23:08] IntLibber Brautigan: lol why?
[23:08] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: just tell me
[23:09] IntLibber Brautigan: yeah why?
[23:09] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: cause chicken fucking rules
[23:10] IntLibber Brautigan: so naturally those of us who have actually accomplished something in SL piss him off mightily
[23:10] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: right
[23:10] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: what did he actually do, anyways?
[23:10] IntLibber Brautigan: I had hired him to build my orientation island
[23:10] IntLibber Brautigan: he CLAIMS that philip stopped talking to him cause he was working for me
[23:11] IntLibber Brautigan: and that NONE of his 'secret linden friends' would talk to him for the same reason
[23:11] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: that's BS
[23:11] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: phillip loves anyone with money
[23:11] IntLibber Brautigan: right
[23:11] IntLibber Brautigan: so he quit and trashed my OI
[23:11] IntLibber Brautigan: did a katamari
[23:11] IntLibber Brautigan: claims philip told him to
[23:12] IntLibber Brautigan: which was the real indicator that he's hearing voices in his head
[23:12] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: like phillip would ask him to help lose money
[23:12] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: he knows how to do that better than anyone
[23:12] IntLibber Brautigan: lol
[23:12] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: "FUCK STABILITY, PRETTY SHIT NOW!"
[23:13] IntLibber Brautigan: before that tho, he brainwashed maddy into trying to get me to step down as CEO and put him in charge
[23:13] IntLibber Brautigan: I said fuck no of course
[23:13] IntLibber Brautigan: so he went on his rampage
[23:13] IntLibber Brautigan: then at SLCC he convinced maddy to help him con Jim into quitting BNT
[23:14] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: I'm pretty sure jim wanted to quit
[23:14] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: he was pretty pissed
[23:14] IntLibber Brautigan: no actually
[23:14] IntLibber Brautigan: maddy says that they really had to try hard
[23:14] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: so then
[23:14] IntLibber Brautigan: now that shes away from mald shes all sorry for what she did
[23:14] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: if jim ISN'T a backstabbing shit
[23:14] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: I don't know WHAT to believe
[23:15] IntLibber Brautigan: well he is a backstabbing shit
[23:15] IntLibber Brautigan: mostly hes a pothead who resents that I wont take him back like the prodigal son
[23:15] InternetToughGuy Hotshot: but I'm the backstabingest shit of all
